Getting a perfect score is a proud achievement, but maintaining it? That's another challenge that requires strategy, consistency, and mental steel. The Final Semester Examination (UAS) can determine your final grade, so you need to prepare well to keep your performance stable. Here are some surefire steps to keep your perfect score at the end of the semester.
1. Evaluate Previous Performance
Before moving on to the UAS study strategy, evaluate your previous assignments, quizzes, and exam scores. Check:
- Are there any courses that you didn't score well in?
- What types of questions often make you struggle?
- Is there a certain pattern from the lecturer in giving exams?
With this evaluation, you can prioritize your study based on your needs, not just based on deadlines.
2. Make a Realistic and Consistent Study Schedule
Don't wait until D-1 of the exam! Make a realistic study schedule at least 2-3 weeks before UAS starts. Divide the time based on:
- Courses with high weight or difficulty.
- Revision of lecture notes and modules.
- Practice question sessions.
Consistency is key. Studying little by little will be much more effective than an all-night marathon.

3. Actively Discuss and Ask The Lecturer
Take advantage of the time before UAS to discuss:
- Ask about the material that you don't understand.
- Discuss exercise questions with friends.
- Consult with lecturers during guidance hours or after class.
In addition to increasing understanding, this active interaction can show your seriousness, which sometimes also has an impact on the overall assessment of the lecturer.
4. Use Active Learning Techniques
Passive learning (just reading or watching videos) is not enough if you want maximum results. Try:
- Rewriting important points in your own words.
- Teaching the material to a friend.
- Making flashcards or mind maps.
- Practicing questions from previous years.
Active methods help you remember and understand the material more deeply.
5. Take Care of Your Physical and Mental Health
All of the above strategies will be useless if you fall ill or are under a lot of stress before the final exam. So, make sure:
- Get enough sleep, at least 6-7 hours.
- Eat regularly and nutritiously.
- Take breaks in between studying, avoid non-stop studying.
- Set aside time for relaxation such as an evening walk or listening to music.
Remember, your brain needs rest to work optimally during exams.
Maintaining perfect grades is not a matter of genius, but of planning, discipline and self-awareness. UAS is the last exam, but also the last chance to show your learning consistency. With the right strategy and mental attitude, you can close the semester with a strong performance.
Keep your spirits up, don't wait for the last day, and believe that consistent effort always gives the best results!
