Whether it's an assignment, presentation, or exam, deadlines are approaching. Have you ever felt overwhelmed, depressed, dizzy and even overly anxious? The 24-hour period feels short, the work piles up, and the body starts to show fatigue. Instead of getting the job done quickly, the tasks just keep piling up. In situations like this, stress becomes a very natural thing. However, that doesn't mean it can't be managed. This article will discuss how to manage stress effectively to stay productive under pressure.

1. Understand The Causes of Stress

The first thing you can do is recognize the source of your stress. Are you stressed because you have too many assignments? Afraid you won't get the best grade? Or are you under pressure because the time is too short? By recognizing the cause, then you can determine what is the most appropriate approach to overcome it.

Tip: You can make a list of tasks that must be completed and prioritize them.

2. Managed Time Wisely

Time management is a major key to reducing stress. Try to break large tasks into small parts and complete them gradually. Use techniques like Pomodoro (25 minutes work, 5 minutes break) to maintain focus without burning out.

Tip: Avoid procrastinating. Because procrastination will only make tasks pile up and add to the mental burden at the end of time.

3. Take a Quality Breaks

Forcing yourself to work constantly is not a solution. Your brain and body need a break to process information and re-energize. Try taking a short walk, a cup of tea, or even a short meditation without your laptop. A short break can help you refocus and work more effectively.

Tip: Don't think of breaks as laziness, think of them as an important part of your productivity strategy.

4. Take Care of Eating and Sleeping

Lack of sleep and an irregular diet can exacerbate stress. A tired and malnourished body will have a harder time dealing with pressure. Try to get at least 6-7 hours of sleep every night, and consume healthy food, avoiding too much caffeine or junk food.

Stress cannot be avoided completely, especially in the midst of a busy student routine. However, by recognizing the source, managing your time smartly, maintaining your health, and giving yourself space, you can manage your stress better. Remember, productivity is not about who is the busiest, but who can maintain balance and stay sane under pressure. So, take a deep breath, reset your strategy, and keep going slowly.
